Not at this time. Corporate users can still access their corporate server data via desktop software like Outlook or Lotus Notes by connecting to the Exchange or Domino servers in their office networks. MightyPhone works with most common corporate firewalls. A MightyPhone Server upgrade will soon be available for IT managers who wish to exercise more control and customize the services for their specific needs.
MightyPhone is a network-agnostic service. All it requires is the capability to access the Internet via a mobile network.
Absolutely. Use MightyPhone to keep your phone updated -- wirelessly! When you make a change to your phone, it will sync back to your desktop.
Not any more. MightyPhone gives you PDA power ... in your mobile phone.
Nope! Your contacts and appointments are at your fingertips -- without having to enter anything into your phone!
With MightyPhone, all your contact information is also in your MightyPhone Web account so you will still have a record of all your personal information, and will be able to restore it to a replacement device as long as your mobile phone number remains the same.
MightyPhone works on both the existing mobile voice network and high-speed 2.5/3G data networks. For better performance, high-speed data service subscriptions are recommended, but they are not mandatory.
Depending on the amount of data you plan to actively manage, the required level of data service subscription varies. For business users who frequently synchronize business contacts and office calendars, we recommend a data plan of up to 2MB to avoid additional data charges. For those using MightyPhone to manage their phone book only, a data plan with up to 1MB should be sufficient. Both examples assume an average address book of less than 500 contact entries and a calendar with 4 scheduled appointments per business day.
Absolutely! Data security is a high priority to us. Your information is always stored in a safe, encrypted format. Only you hold the key to unlocking that information - your password. Since we do not store a copy of your password, we suggest you keep your password in a secure place for later reference. If you have additional questions, please review our security policy.
We are firmly committed to respecting your privacy. We do not share your information with any third party without your prior consent. If you have any questions, please review our privacy policy.
